S, my first reaction was also shock... but then i see it objectively. This actress looks very close to the face of M.Teresa in her younger days (directors reasoning). She brings easy publicity for the movie (directors motive). she will attract enough curious male gender of the human species to the theatre (directors ploy)
I second Ashok here.... the movie can be finished in low budget but with high publicity!! Make-up no expenses, coz the face is already wrinkled!! n tat aged look can be easily brought upon!!
sometimes it just doesnt make sense to ruin a character even if its in a movie by making a dumb blonde in this case play her. Only movies Paris will get ppl talking abt are the ones shot in her handicam..
@archana...i disagree with u.she is amazing as an actress. '1N in Paris' is the only movie i saw of her. She was so natural and spontaneous . hehe... :)
@saranya //now who in hollywood would make a good realistic M.Teresa? //
My choice : Cate Blanchett
reasons : 1. She is not a conventional beauty (i dont want to sound rude by calling her ugly) and has no sex-bomb image like other holywood actresses (so guys can concentrate on the character better :)without distractions) 2. She is an amazing character artist (her previous movies speak for themselves) 3. She has worked with Indian directors before and proved herself.

Is Paris Hilton even an actress? She has that dumb blonde expression on her face forever! The director is nuts!
Hey Ashok,
By any chance r u the director?
Just kidding...!
U seemed to have analyzed his motives pretty well.
Archu,
Her lack-of-acting skills are legendary. Looks like a publicity stunt.
Madsies,
I know ! She would turn a lot indeed...

Kuttichuvaru,
LOL...lemme add that costumes would cost very less too...all she would need is one nun dress that would cover her completely :-P
rofl. That was interesting to say the least. At least it's created a stir enough - and maybe that's all the director cared for too.
hmm.. Would Paris be okay covering herself up in the sari? Wouldn't she like breakout in rashes? *mock horror*

This movie will definitely damage Mother Teresa's image.

Rads,
Hilton in a sari ? That would be a sight indeed !
Vivek,
I don't think ppl care for anything she does.

she is an acctress, so there is nothing wrong in doing mother theresa`s role, or else that of a mallika sherawat
Ashok,
Good analysis !
Nabeel,
U really think Hilton can act ?
